Laura Niznik Williams is Director, Government and Community Relations (GCR) at UC Davis Health. For the past 16 years, she has managed UC Davis Health’s collaborative partnerships; local, state and federal government relations; workforce development; neighborhood relations; and community outreach. In addition, she previously managed the UC Davis Health community health needs assessment and community benefit efforts for nine years. She has an extensive background in nonprofit association management, health care magazine publishing, public relations, marketing, and government and community relations.

Laura is helping to lead workforce efforts for Aggie Square. She also manages the UC Davis Health Community Advisory Committee and serves on a variety of boards and committees on behalf of the University including the Stockton Boulevard Partnership and community relations committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California. She volunteers her time in the community as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and baker for Cake4Kids.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento.
