Bryce Madden is a fourth-year student at UC Davis majoring in communications and minoring in professional writing. As an editor for two literary magazines—the Cosumnes River Journal’s 2018 and 2019 issues, and Open Ceilings’ Fall 2022 issue—he reviewed submissions, collaborated with authors to strengthen their artistic voice, and made sure their works were technically polished through copyediting and proofreading. As a temporary marketing assistant for California 4H in 2017, he reviewed the 4H county websites and made suggestions to improve communication with the site's audiences, reviewed policy documents, and checked for correct branding. As the communications intern at Aggie Square, he writes for the newsletter, looks for new stories, and assists wherever needed.
