As Aggie Square moves from its planning to action phase, a series of webinars has been scheduled on subjects that matter to the community.

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, the second in the series — "Workforce Development Strategy and UC Small Business First Program" — was hosted by Aggie Square partners UC Davis, the city of Sacramento and Wexford Science & Technology. 

The recorded webinar includes updates from Sacramento's Vice Mayor Jay Schenirer and Councilmember Eric Guerra; UC Davis' Tim Maguire on the Small Business First program; and teams of working groups — made up of community groups, the university, the city and Wexford — who are researching best practices for outreach, skills and training for expected jobs at Aggie Square.
